Skillet Cookie Tips

Achieving the perfect Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie involves a few key tips that can make a significant difference in the final dish. Following these tips will help you create a cookie that’s both flavorful and satisfying.

Use a Cast Iron Skillet

A cast iron skillet is ideal for baking this cookie. It ensures even cooking and gives the cookie its signature crispy edges and chewy center. If you don’t have a cast iron skillet, any oven-safe skillet will work, but you may need to adjust the baking time slightly.

Let it Rest

Allowing the cookie to rest for a few minutes after baking is crucial. This helps the center set and makes it easier to slice and serve. Patience is key to achieving the perfect texture.

Storage Tips

If you have any leftovers, store them in an airtight container at room temperature. The cookie will stay fresh for a couple of days, and you can enjoy it as a quick snack or dessert.
