Turkey Burrito Bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb ground turkey or ground sausage
  • 1 bell pepper diced
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1/4 cup water less if needed
  • 2 tablespoons homemade taco seasoning
  • optional 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Diced green onions for garnish
  • 4 cups cooked cauliflower rice for serving

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil over medium high heat in a large skillet. Add ground turkey to the pan and cook until the meat begins to brown.
  • Add onion and pepper to the pan and cook until turkey is well browned and vegetables are soft. This usually takes about 7 minutes. Stir often.
  • Add the water, taco seasoning and red pepper flakes. Mix well.
  • Add warm, cooked cauliflower rice to each bowl. Top with the turkey mixture and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
