Ingredients
  

  • 1 16 ounces can refried beans
  • 1 cup guacamole store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chunky salsa
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
  • Chips to eat with

Optional toppings

  • Sliced black olives
  • Diced fresh tomatoes
  • Diced green onions
  • Diced pickled jalapeño peppers

Instructions
 

  • Arrange eight clear 9-ounce punch cups on a counter or cookie sheet for easy assembly.
  • Begin building the layers by spooning 2 tablespoons of refried beans into the bottom of each cup. Use the back of the spoon to smooth the layer flat.
  • Follow with 2 tablespoons of guacamole, spreading it evenly over the beans.
  • Add a layer of 2 tablespoons of sour cream, spreading it carefully to prevent mixing with the guacamole.
  • Spoon 2 tablespoons of salsa evenly over the sour cream.
  • Add a layer of 2 tablespoons of shredded Mexican blend cheese on top of the salsa.
  • Finish by adding your chosen toppings liberally over the cheese layer.
  • Serve the dip cups immediately with corn tortilla chips for dipping.
